  Dear Friends and Students,
  
  I feel privileged to give you introduction of my medical college. GMERS Medical College, Gandhinagar is centrally located in the capital city of Gujarat state. It is managed by Gujarat Medical Education & Research Society, which is a registered trust of Gujarat government. GMERS Medical College, Gandhinagar is affiliated with the prestigious, “Gujarat University”, Ahmedabad. Our medical college is spread over lush green area of 42 acres, which houses teaching hospital, Auditorium, Doctor staff quarters, Nursing staff quarters, Resident quarters, Boys’ hostel, Girls’ hostel, Play Ground, and other supportive facilities.

Since founding as a state-of-the art Medical College of GMERS in 2010, Our College has emerged as one of the leading and most respected Medical institute of Gujarat. Our Institute is engaged with commitment and enthusiasm in Hospital, College, Research and Community Services. To fulfill our aim of community service, we organized various medical camps in rural and urban slum area to build a healthy community. Our proactive health awareness campaigns are aptly appreciated by Government and local bodies.

The students of Medical College are its pride and its strength. We are putting every sincere effort to bring out the best of our students, for which various types of teaching activities, CMEs, Seminars, Workshops are organized in the college. To sustain and grow, we ensure latest technology acquisitions are made in Healthcare delivery and support systems. I hope to be able to interact with both, the faculty as well as the students and will try to address any problem that they bring, to the best of my abilities. With the collaborative participation of my faculty members and students, I hope, we shall continue to march forward in achieving our goals in the field of medical research, education and patient care.

The medical campus is free from ragging activities and fully observes Prevention of Ragging Regulation, 2009. We recognize Ragging as an offence which is completely prohibited and is discouraged.

It will be my afford that all part of this college may function together harmoniously. It is my hope and dream that we take this institution to unprecedented heights. Towards this aim, I seek your sincere support.
